The Causes of Road Accidents

I feel that the road accident are increasing day by day and everyone is busy in their life and they are just trying to get an easy access everywhere. Nobody here is ready to delegate his work to the other person because he has become greedier for instant money.
The reason behind the increase in accidents, I would like to say is the lack of law and order in the land. Every person who is involved in an accident is to be charged under section 279, 337 and 338 of the Indian penal code and the person if found guilty in this regard, is fined by the court a maximum amount of 2500 rupees. It is to be noted is that the Indian penal code was enacted in the year 1860 and the fine above mentioned is prescribed in that year and has not at all been modified till date.

Another reason is that almost all the vehicles are insured and the driver is aware that he is not at all liable for any compensation against the injured. It can be compensated by levying a portion of the burden on the part of the driver and the owner by the courts strictly.

  1. Insurance is liable for the vehicle but the driver is always liable in anything that will happen to the other driver and passengers. Driver who is responsible for the accident should be liable for every road accident compensation claimed by the victims.
